Mr Taylor was Course Co-ordinator and member of the teaching faculty, along with local African and UK surgeons, at this internationally renowned foot and ankle surgery course, sponsored by BOFAS, a UK charity. He gave lectures on neurological foot surgery and ensured the course ran well, arranging the teaching sessions in the lecture theatre, the hospital clinic and the anatomy laboratory.

The course yet again was extremely well received and provided training to 32 local delegates, in conjunction with COSECSA (College of Surgeons of East, Central & Southern Africa.

Mr Taylor can be seen here with one of the guides from Volcanoes National Park, in Rwanda, where he was able to complete a trek in the rainforest, to visit the "gorillas in the mist". This was a wonderful experience and a real "once in a lifetime" opportunity. More News
