September 2023- Lusaka Zambia Member of Teaching Faculty for BOFAS Principles Course

Mr Taylor was part of the teaching faculty, along with local African and UK surgeons, at this internationally renowned foot and ankle surgery course, sponsored by BOFAS, a UK charity. He gave lectures on neurological foot surgery and led group discussion on complex cases, as well as teaching in the anatomy laboratory on surgical approaches to the foot & ankle.

The course was extremely well received and provided training to around 35 local delegates, in conjunction with COSECSA (College of Surgeons of East, Central & Southern Africa. Mr Taylor has been invited back to run the next course in Rwanda, in 2024.

Mr Taylor can be seen here with the faculty and delegates, outside the lecture theatre in Lusaka Hospital, Zambia.

Prior to the course, the UK faculty were fortunate enough to visit South Luangwa Safari Park, in eastern Zambia. Mr Taylor can be seen here taking the opportunity to photograph a herd of elephants, that had wondered through the safari camp.
