March 2020- Member of teaching faculty BOFAS Foot and Ankle Course Dar es Salaam Tanzania

Mr Taylor was part of the teaching faculty, along with local east African and UK surgeons, at this charity sponsored foot and ankle course, held at the Muhimbili Orthopaedic Institute in Dar es Salaam. He gave lectures on ankle fractures, diabetic foot conditions and neurological foot deformity. He also led small group discussions on patients presenting with complex foot and ankle conditions and provided teaching on surgical approaches to the foot and ankle.
The course provided education to over 40 delegates, both trainees and young Consultants, attending in conjunction with COSECSA (College of Surgeons of East, Central & Southern Africa). The course was extremely well received by the delegates and feedback was excellent. BOFAS has been invited back by COSECSA to provide a similar course in Kenya in 2021, which fulfils the charitable remit of providing surgical education to the developing world.
